Repealing the Politician Killing Lizard Rhetoric

How long will it last. The lizards already have abscesses from bitting their tongue.

And let's not forget how poisonous those tongues are!

LIZARDS BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION!?!?!?!?!??

Jeb Bush is in Florida strategizing on how to bring the Latino vote to the Grand Lizard Party!
http://colorlines.com/archives/2011/01/gop_trying_new_ideas_to_woo_latinos.html

Well, self-preservation is one of the main features of the lizard brain, and even they can count.
The only Latino group, Miami Cubans, that has been drawn to the Grand Lizard Party is mellowing out and drifting left. And they split from the Lizard hard line when it comes to immigration policy.
Maybe they believe they can evolve. I'd be glad if they get to amphibians!

Reptiles in Tucson

So a mentally ill youngster decides to kill his US Rep because of a perceived wrong, attacks her and kills young and old indiscriminately. A 9 year old girl curious of politics, a young social worker trying to make a difference, 3 senior citizens who wanted to talk about medicare and a judge trying to get relief for an overworked federal bench. Gone.

Violent metaphors in politics, populist vitriol, unreasonable, ignorant and illogical arguments full of hate will do this to some people.

Rep. Giffords warned us back in March:
“When people do that, they’ve got to realize there’s consequences.”

Anchor the Constitution Baby

The reptilian republicans want to change the constitution. The politics of us vs them, -dehuminize them- anchor babies, is all the rage for the rep/reps. The likes of Duncan Hunter (how's dat for a patrician name? does his birth right include Coto de Caza?) who doesn't want to be mean: “We’re just saying it takes more than walking across the border to become an American citizen. It’s what’s in our souls.” http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/05/us/politics/05babies.html?pagewanted=2&hpw
What's in his soul? Does he have a soul or just the aforementioned overgrown amygdala?

People cross the border to work, so the rep/reps can eat $.39 a head lettuce.

If the fight is about whose soul represents the values that have made this Country great the rep/reps do not stand a chance. So warm up those cold little bodies in this brief moment in the sun, but remember that righteousnesses will send you back to your hole.

EXTRA EXTRA : Immigration policy and the Lizard Brain- Pretty it ain't.

Right wing politics and Immigration hard line are physiological traits of the lizard brain! Scientist in London have confirmed it!  http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/rightwing-brains-different-2171127.html

Think of Steve King and Lamar Smith as giant lizards, facing extinction, stroking their "more pronounced amygdalas." Pretty it ain't.

2011= Prospero New Year!

2011 The first decade of this 21st is gone. Gone is also the hope of finding a solution to the millions of undocumented workers living in the U.S.

Clinton wouldn’t do it. Bush started with a bang- the visit of Vicente Fox (cool to see a Mexican president taller that a U.S. president from Texas). Then 9/11 happened and the word was to close the southern border though the terrorists were using the Canadian border.

Obama turned his back temporarily to the 10 to 15 million people living and working in this country, some of which helped him get elected.

Temporarily I hope. The narrow mindedness (I really want to say bigotry, but I won’t) of the republicans is self defeating. Ask Harry Reid.

So 2011 is here. The economic news is getting better. The days of farm workers wiping out $100 bills and buying 20 pairs of jeans can’t be too far away.

Come on! Let’s legalize people, legalize families, legalize and educate the generation that will be taking care of us baby-boomers. In 20 years we will be begging Mexicans to come and work here.

Then again, I might just be retired in Colima or Playa del Carmen!

Parting the Waters

Lamar Smith http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1210/46774.html seems to realize that reality bites.
Lamar (the sea- beautiful name) might be taking a softer position on immigration.

Has he been talking to the California republicans?
I guess the real scary wing- Steve King and other Neanderthals, seem to be willing to pick up the slag.
Birthright? El Derecho the Nacer?!!! These melodramatic republicans better realize that no one does soap-operas como nosotros los latinos. Better not fall in love with the maid's daughter, the newborn child is going to be yours. How will you tell da wife and da congregation!
Please do not forget newborn child we are celebrating this time of year. Would you deny him citizenship?
