Well, self-preservation is one of the main features of the lizard brain, and even they can count.
The only Latino group, Miami Cubans, that has been drawn to the Grand Lizard Party is mellowing out and drifting left. And they split from the Lizard hard line when it comes to immigration policy.

A 9 year old girl curious of politics, a young social worker trying to make a difference, 3 senior citizens who wanted to talk about medicare and a judge trying to get relief for an overworked federal bench. Gone.

Violent metaphors in politics, populist vitriol, unreasonable, ignorant and illogical arguments full of hate will do this to some people.
